Apprenticeship at PrimeSoft
Start your future in software development
Would you like to develop software yourself, rather than just use computers? As an ICT application development apprentice working towards a Swiss Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) at PrimeSoft, you will learn how ideas become digital solutions. You will program applications, work on exciting projects and develop skills that are more in demand than ever in today's working world.
You will complete your entire four-year apprenticeship at PrimeSoft in Eschlikon. You will receive personal support, work with modern technologies and gradually take on responsibility in real projects. This gives you valuable practical experience during your training and lays the foundation for your professional future.
PrimeSoft offers an apprenticeship every two years. The next apprenticeship is therefore expected to start in summer 2028.
What your apprenticeship looks like
1st year of apprenticeship
In your first year, you will attend vocational school in Frauenfeld three days a week and spend two days at the company. You will learn how websites are built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and gain a grounding in programming.
2nd year of apprenticeship
In your second year, you will take responsibility for our apprentice projects. These are real client projects planned, managed and delivered entirely by our apprentices.
3rd & 4th year of apprenticeship
In your third year, you will work as a full team member on client projects or help develop our product primedocs.
In addition to your training at PrimeSoft and vocational school, you will attend inter-company courses (ÜK) in years 1 to 3.
You can find an overview of the courses and modules in the module catalogue.
